Amy Sink, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Teachers Credit Union
As Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Amy Sink is responsible for the direction of the financial operations at Teachers Credit Union, which includes 43 service locations in Indiana and Southwestern Michigan. She directs the Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Operational EFT Group and the Human Resources functions for the largest credit union in the state of Indiana with assets in excess of $2 billion and over 263,000 members.
With 25 years experience in the credit union industry, Sink has led Teachers Credit Union during significant periods of growth and expansion. Her direct leadership has included a conversion of a defined benefit plan structure to a newly established defined contribution plan. She also created and launched an indirect lending program, one of the largest in house programs in the industry. She also created a CUSO known as Procura, a purchasing card business owned by the Credit Union Industry. She planned, negotiated and implemented a contract to sell $65 million credit card assets that increased Teachers Credit Union’s capital by $10 million and a conversion from Visa to MasterCard, resulting in a $3.3 million savings, all of which allowed for an expansion of facilities to increase member convenience.
Sink has spent her entire professional career with Teachers Credit Union. Prior to her promotion as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1996, Sink served as the Director of Financial Analysis and Planning. Previously, she served as Financial Analyst, a position she was quickly promoted to after she began her career as a Financial Assistant.
An active member in her community, Sink serves as a Board Member on The Summit Club Community Resource Center, South Bend/Mishawaka Leadership, Family and Children’s Center, Inc., and the YWCA. In addition, she is also active in or held leadership roles with the United Way, the Chamber of Commerce, Credit Union League, St. Matthew Cathedral School Athletic Board and the South Bend Community School Corporation.
She holds her Bachelor of Science in Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University and her Masters of Science in Administration from Notre Dame. Sink has completed numerous advanced training course programs, including the Advanced Leadership Institute at the Harvard Executive MBA School.
John C. Fiore, President and Chief Executive Officer, Motorola Employees Credit Union
As President and Chief Executive Officer for Motorola Employees Credit Union, John C. Fiore manages, plans, develops and directs the credit union to ensure that financial objectives, goals and institutional growth are met and in accordance with polices of Board of Directors and government regulations.
During his 26 years as President, the eleven branch credit union located in four states, has seen assets increase from $50 million to $730 million and membership has grown to over 38,000 members, an increase of over 60%.
Fiore has spent his entire professional career with Motorola Employees Credit Union. Beginning in 1969, he served in the Loan Department and worked his way through a variety of positions, including Assistant Loan Manager, Manager of Lending and Collections, Manager of Lending and Branch Operations, Vice President/Assistant Manager and ultimately President and CEO.
An active member in the credit union community, Fiore currently serves as the Director and Treasurer of his credit union; Director of the Illinois Credit Union League; Director of the Illinois Credit Union League Service Corporation; Director of the Northern Cook County Chapter; member of the World Council of Credit Unions Advisory Group; Director of the Credit Union Political Action Council; Trustee of the Credit Union Legislative Action Committee; and Director of the Illinois Credit Union Foundation.
In addition, Fiore has held many past offices within the credit union industry, including, but not limited to Director of Mid-States Corporate Federal Credit Union and a National Delegate for the Illinois CUNA.
Throughout his career, Fiore has been the recipient of several credit union industry honors and awards, including induction into the Illinois Credit Union Leagues Credit Union Hall of Fame (2000), the Credit Union Executive Society Hall of Fame (2002) and the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders (2011). Fiore was named Credit Union Executive Society Executive of the Year (2001).
He holds his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Elmhurst College.
Leanne McGuinness, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Summit Federal Credit Union
Summit Federal Credit Union’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Leanne McGuinness has over 20 years experience in the credit union industry.
In her previous position, McGuinness served as the Accounting Manager and then the Controller, Director of Finance and Vice President of Finance for The Summit. Prior to joining The Summit, McGuinness was a Senior Auditor for Price WaterhouseCoopers LLC.
She is a member of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) Regulatory Committee and volunteers as the Board Chair for Serenity House, a comfort care hospice located in Victor, N.Y.
A Certified Public Accountant, McGuinness holds her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego.
Curt Cecala, Chief Executive Officer, TCT Federal Credit Union
With over 20 years experience in the credit union industry, TCT Federal Credit Union’s Chief Executive Officer, Curt Cecala advises TCT’s Board of Directors on all policy and strategic issues involving TCT Federal Credit Union. Cecala is responsible for leading and directing TCT’s staff in executing the Board’s strategic vision and plan for its members. He oversees TCT’s senior management and administers policy development, operational strategic planning, product analysis and development. He is chiefly responsible for the asset liability management of the credit union’s balance sheet and in this capacity handles the investments and pricing strategy for the credit union.
Cecala reports to the ALCO Committee and advises them about the credit union’s financial position, earnings outlook, interest rate and credit risk positions. He also reports to the Supervisory Committee on the credit union’s operational controls and responses to audit findings.
Cecala has served on credit union district and chapter councils. He was also the Adirondack District of New York’s Credit Union Political Action Representative for several years in the 1990’s. He recently served on the Credit Union Association of New York’s Corporate Credit Union Services Task Force.
He holds his Bachelors in Business Management from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
Lynn Kothe, President and Chief Executive Officer, North Memorial Federal Credit Union
With over 30 year’s leadership experience, North Memorial Federal Credit Union’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Lynn Kothe oversees the management and direction of all aspects of the credit union’s activities.
An active member in the credit union community, Kothe currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation and the Minnesota Item Processing Corporation. Previously, Kothe served on the Minnesota Credit Union Network for 18 years, as well as several board and committees for the Credit Union Association.
Kothe attended North Dakota State University and she is a graduate of the CUNA Management School.
Floyd Albert Rummel, III, President, Dakota Territory Federal Credit Union
With 30 years experience in the financial services industry, the last 23 of which in his current position as President of Dakota Territory Federal Credit Union, Floyd Albert Rummel, III is committed to the success of his credit union.
An active member in the community, Rummel served on the South Dakota Credit Union League board from 1995 to 2006 (serving as the Chair from 1997 to 2006) when the league consolidated with the North Dakota league, forming the Mid-America Credit Union Association, now known as the Credit union Association of the Dakotas. Currently, he serves on the board of NeighborWorks America Dakota Home Resources.
A graduate of Black Hills State University Spearfish (South Dakota), Rummel was Potentate of the NAJA Shriners in 2003.
David B. Suvall, President and Chief Executive Officer, Rhode Island Credit Union
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Rhode Island Credit Union, David B. Suvall is responsible for the development and execution of the credit union’s strategic objectives and goals and provides leadership, direction, and guidance for all credit union related activities. He is committed to the members, staff and Board of Directors and to the continued success of the Rhode Island Credit Union.
Suvall has been with Rhode Island Credit Union since 1981 serving as the Vice President Controller for 24 years and as President/CEO since 2005. An active member in his community, Suvall serves on the Board of Directors for the Credit Union Association of Rhode Island, Chair of the Board for Education in Action and involved with various local civic and business organizations.
He holds his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University.
